2024 Week 10 League Play

President's Choice topped Darcy's Duffers (10-6) to take over first place and drop the Duffers to fourth. The Wedgies dropped to second with a 9-7 loss to BAG Team, and Odd Lot is in third after defeating Shank Faction 10-6. Divot Masters evened their record with a 13-3 win over Mulligans and sit in fifth place. Team Fore! toppled Sandbaggers by a 10-6 score in the day's other match. Full standings are below.

The average net score came in at 2.8 strokes over par (39.8 on the front nine). Britt Robinson and Don Flynn tied for low net honors at 2-under 35, and Garrett Weiss, Art Ortega, Steve Widergren, and Alex Johnson (37) also won a share of low net prizes in their respective handicap groupings. Kyle Makovsky had the day's best gross score at 4-over 41. Leon Wood sunk a 24-footer to take the Longest Putt prize on #8, and Gary Cannell had the Longest Drive on #7. The full scoresheet is here.

A note for the new players: Each week the winners of low net and gross scores are highlighted here on the website. However, weekly prizes are given to low net only (not low gross). Two hole prizes are awarded each week, and vary from week to week. Low net prizes are given in four handicap groupings, broken out as evenly as possible based on the distributions of handicaps playing that day. Therefore, you are competing against others with similar handicap for low net individual prizes. See the Prize Listing for a list of individual prize winners.

Reminder from the handicap chair and webmaster: Please clearly write full names with correct spelling on the score sheets each week, so that we don't have to try to guess when entering scores into the handicap database. Also please compute the adjusted gross score based on player handicap. AND... CHECK HANDICAPS against the listing in the score folder to make sure they match what each player reported at the start of the match!
